According to the digital printing ink classification, we can also classify the digital printing technology.Know the difference of each kind of ink, so that we can know which kind of machine and process is the ink suitable for, easy for our daily choice of ink. Next, I will introduce several types of printing inks in turn.
Disperse dye sublimation ink - sublimation printing
At present, more than 50% of the ink used for printing in China is disperse dye ink, which is used for printing polyester and other chemical fiber fabrics.Disperse dyes is a kind of dye with very low water solubility. With high temperature and high pressure (220-240 ℃), the dye eventually combines with the fabric to form color.
The smaller the diameter of the particles in the dye, the more fluid the ink and spray, so the damage to the nozzle will be smaller, will not easily cause nozzle clogging. So this is also one of the important indicators of dye sublimation ink quality judgment.
Reactive ink -- reactive digital printing
Reactive ink is mainly used in silk and cotton fabric printing. Reactive dyes are dyes that react with fibers during dyeing. At present mainly used in cotton, general hemp, silk and other woven and knitted fabrics or fabrics with higher ingredients.
Acid ink -- acid digital printing
Acid ink is mainly used for printing wool, nylon and other fabrics. Acid ink is a kind of water-soluble ink with acid groups on its structure, which is dyed in acid medium. Acid ink mostly contains sodium sulfonate, soluble in water, bright color, complete color spectrum. Mainly used for wool, silk and nylon dyeing, can also be used for leather, paper, ink and other aspects. Generally no coloring power to cellulose fiber.
Pigment ink -- digital direct printing
Pigment ink can be used for such as cotton materials digital direct printing. When printing patterns on t-shirts, DTG printer and pigment ink can be used for direct spray painting, which is very convenient.
