What is Dye Sublimation Paper
Dye sublimation paper is a very important consumable in heat transfer printing. Various patterns are printed on a special paper with special heat transfer ink, and then transferred to the product through temperature and pressure. This special paper in the heat transfer process is called sublimation paper.
What is Sublimation Printing
Transfer printing is a printing process in which dyes are transferred to the fabric by transfer paper. It is based on the sublimated characteristics of some disperse dyes, choosing disperse dyes sublimating at 150 ~ 230℃, mix it with slurry to make "color" . Then, print the “color” to transfer paper (this is a special paper, therefore calls transfer paper)according to different design requirements. At last, the sublimation paper with printed patterns will be close contacted to textile, in a certain temperature, pressure and time control, through the internal diffusion into the fabric, so as to achieve the goal of coloring.
In general, sublimation printing process is that dispersed dye sublimation paper be printed by special heat transfer ink with various patterns. Then through the temperature and pressure, the pattern will be transferred to the product. This special reheat transfer process in the paper is called sublimation paper. Transfer printing is a printing process in which dyes are transferred to the fabric by transfer paper.
Advantages of Sublimation Paper
The advantages of sublimation paper can be divided into the following five points:
1.100% sustainable wood pulp, 100% renewable
2.Mixed double coating structure, supporting saturation printing 400% ink without film crack, no back penetration, paper smoothness, high printing accuracy, clear hierarchy, wide color gamut.
3.Mixed double coating structure, supporting saturation printing 400% ink without film crack, no back penetration, paper smoothness, high printing accuracy, clear hierarchy, wide color gamut.
4.High ink absorption ability, fast dry reduce passive dry, effectively improve production efficiency, paper movement without re-pollution, reduce scrap rate
5.Ink utilization efficiency, high transfer rate
