Now some printers in the market have been debugged by the manufacturer. The internal structure and drive are suitable for water-based inks and oil-based inks. However, once it is decided which ink to apply, it is better not to modify it, because there are already residual inks in the ink tubes and nozzles. If it is replaced, it will cause different inks to mix together, which will result in the printer nozzle not being able to eject ink and more serious damage to the machine.
So, if the printer user wants to change to oily ink after using water-based dye ink, is it feasible? In principle, this kind of operation is feasible. First of all, regardless of the model, if there is a phenomenon of wanting to replace the ink, the internal ink must be completely emptied. If there are conditions, it is better to replace the ink cartridge directly. Ink is more difficult to remove. Moreover, the ink in the ink tube should be completely cleaned, and the ink can be reversely washed first, the ink in the ink tube is completely returned to the ink cartridge, and then the cleaning liquid is driven into the ink tube, and the ink is cleaned after repeated cleaning. Eliminate it completely and use it again.

The printer nozzle is the most important part of the whole machine. If you change the ink used, the work of the nozzle is even more important. If you are using a sublimation printer, because the price of the nozzle is high, it is not recommended to replace the nozzle when replacing the corresponding dye sublimation ink. However, the nozzle must be removed and manually cleaned to completely remove the ink inside the nozzle. When using new ink, the mixing of the two inks causes the nozzle to clog.
Although some printers are suitable for both types of ink, it is best not to replace them once the user has selected the ink. Replacing the used ink is not only troublesome to operate, but also has many uncertainties. If there is a problem that the machine cannot be used after replacing the ink, it is really worth the loss.
