Large Format Digital Printer Ink Tube Maintenance Recommendations

When we use large format digital printers, we will inevitably encounter various failure problems. Many users do not pay attention to maintenance when using the machine, which often causes the printer to be inoperable, which delays time and wastes money. If the ink tube of the printer fails, the machine will not work. How to maintain the ink tube of the printer?


● For large format eco-solvent digital printer

Since the eco-solvent ink has a certain volatility, the machine does not need to be easily plugged for a long time. Please follow the steps below to maintain the ink tube of the machine:

1. Before shutting down, please drop the special cleaning solution into the ink stack cap to do a cleaning. Then print the test strip to check that the nozzle is in normal condition. Then put the trolley in the ink stack, put the nozzle height in the low position and shut down normally.
2. It is recommended to print the nozzle test strip every day to check whether the nozzle is clogged. If there is any blockage, please perform the cleaning operation to ensure that the nozzle is in good condition.
3. If your machine has been out of service for more than 3 days, clamp the two ink tubes under the ink cap with clips and add some cleaning solution to the ink cap to ensure that the surface of the nozzle is not wet. Ensure that the nozzle is cleaned once every 3 days.


● For large format sublimation digital printer

1. Before the machine is deactivated, print the test strip to check that the nozzle is in the normal state, then place the trolley in the ink stack, put the nozzle height in the low position, and shut down normally.
2. It is recommended to print the nozzle test strip every day to check whether the nozzle is clogged. If there is any blockage, please perform the cleaning operation to ensure that the nozzle is in good condition.
3. If your machine has been out of service for more than 10 days, clamp the two ink tubes under the ink cap with clips and add some pure water to the ink cap to ensure that the surface of the nozzle is not wet.
